David Boykin works directly with business owners, stakeholders and board members of middle market (domestic & international) companies as they consider exit strategies for their business. Since David has spent the past 10 years in Middle Market M & A, he understands the dynamics and the nuances of dealing with buyers and sellers. David provides Transact clients with a wealth of successful transactional experience in deal structure, contract negotiations, due diligence management, valuations, transition planning and business operations.
David Boykin understands the challenges of business ownership and the issues involved with exiting a business. David has been involved in every facet of business ownership, from start-ups to acquisitions to turnarounds. David has developed the unique ability to identify and acquire underperforming or stagnant companies and turn them into highly profitable businesses. In addition to successfully negotiating transactions for our clients, David has completed over 15 buy/sell transactions for his own companies.
David holds a BSBA Degree in Marketing from Western Carolina University. David serves as a board member and advisor for several privately held companies. In addition, David is licensed as a Real Estate Broker in the state of North Carolina.
